Administrative Meeting between GSWIM and ILaED.org on 2 August 2022
We held an evaluation meeting to get feedback on the projects we are financing and plan ahead. In attendance included GSWIM founder, Ms Lilian Nantume Mubiru, ILaed.ORG board Member Prof Anthony Kakooza and ILaED co-founder Dr Susan Isiko Strba. Also from ILaED.org was Mrs Rita Namakiika Nangono, but she is not in the photo.
Training of Women in Arts and Crafts
On 2 August 2022, GSWIM and ILaED.org held training for women in arts and crafts. Ms Rita Namakiika Nangono the Vice president of ILaED.org and head of the Kampala office provided her thoughts.
Professor Anthony Kakooza, a board member of ILaED.org.org, provided training on the need for intellectual property for the products and services the visionary women are producing under the Women in Arts and Crafts project.

The ILaED.org/GSWIM training was facilitated by a number of people. In middle, the Community Development Officer of Goma District, Seeta, Mrs. Robinah Kayaga, who gave the opening remarks. Celebrity Joanita Muganga Kawalya (in flowered dress), shared her journey of being in the creative and artistic industry.
Meeting with Hon Rebecca A. Kadaga
11 August, ILaED.org met Honourable Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister For East African Affairs of the Republic of Uganda. We discussed opportunities within the East African Community for women economic empowerment using intellectual property, trade, e-commerce and technology.
